that's cool you are thinking of studying medicine in china, my mom worked at Sichuan University, and i have a couple of friend going there now. it's one of the best in the country. you should try to google their website. they teach both western medicine and traditional chinese medicine. but i hope your chinese is ready to go, because chinese students are a lot more hardcore about school than students from many other countries. and i'm sure you can walk during holidays, i don't know what the first guy was talking about, but i lived there for 15 years, and loved the place. good luck

Doing business in China is hazardous. Chinese courts are very reluctant to rule in favor of any non-Chinese, no matter what the apparent facts of the case.
Thus, I was taught that westerners should do business through established brokers in either Taiwan or Hong Kong. They have the long standing business relationships with mainland firms which encourage the mainland firms to treat their customers honestly.
As to finding such brokers … ask every businessperson you know and meet if they know anyone who can help you find the people you're looking for.
You need to literally ask who they know who might help you find such firms … if you ask directly for such firms, their brain will immediately answer "no idea" and turn off. What you're looking for is everyone they know who has any connections to Taiwan and/or HK businesses.

You can visit the folowing two universities website, they offer Western and Chinese Medicine in English. The duration of the bacheloers degree course is 5 years and master degree is 7 years. The tuition and hostel fee is US$2500 per year. They are both enroling students for September 2007 semester now.
